B. Physiotherapy (La Trobe), B. Commerce (Melbourne)
Matt graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University. He then went on to work at the Epworth Hospital as a physiotherapist in both acute and rehabilitation settings.
After spending 3 years in corporate health promotion, Matt spent 2 years working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the UK with the National Health Service, deciding eventually to come back to Australia to work in private practice with PhysioLife.
Matt is a passionate sportsperson, and currently trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and boxing, having also played amateur Australian rules football for 20 years. Matt works closely with the Parkside Football Club, Alphington Bluetongues Soccer club and Absolute MMA fight team.
Matt has an interest in treating sporting injuries, particularly those arising from fightsports. He also enjoys treating with clinical pilates, taking a range of classes and private clinical pilates consultations.
Matt is currently consulting at both Alphington and Bulleen.

- Matt enjoys watching obscure sports on TV. His favourites include lawn bowls, curling and professional carp fishing.
- Matt is a BJJ blue belt.
- Matt is often mistaken for a young Dean Cain.

Matt consults our of our Alphington clinic on Mondays, Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday afternoons, Thursday afternoons, and Fridays.
He can also be found at our Bulleen clinic on Tuesday mornings.
